Type Locality and Naming

Along the Dangiubulak stream, Karachatyr Range, South Fergana. F.R. Bensh in 1975 (291, p. 112).

Synonym: Dangibulak Formation, Дангибулакская св.


Lithology and Thickness

Gray, bluish-greenish-gray, brownish-gray claystones with subordinate interlayers of marls, siltstones, and clayey-sandy oolitic, algal, and shell limestones; in the upper part, medium-bedded organogenic limestones predominate. Thickness about 70 m.
